Greetings Potential Citizens!

26 September 2009

Greetings potential citizens of nowhereisland....
Sorry we haven't been posting here that much, but the whole team has been pulling together to get the last bits sorted before our pitch on Monday. The team has been incredible - everyone has put so much effort into getting the project to a point where we can really show that it can be done, and that all the issues have been addressed. Every single person we've talked to about the project has been fired with enthusiasm for it and this energy has kept us going to this point. We really are ready to go!
We'll post the full proposal after the pitch so you can see how it's developed from the original half-a-side of A4 into the project Nowhereisland which really can happen!
Big big thanks to all of you across the world who have shown your support, it's been a fantastic encouragement.
Register on the website and watch this space.

a winner for climate and cape farewell eh?

janet

It is a good way to raise awareness of climate change, which is a very important issue.
I can not see what the artistic input is though.
I hope this will some how show us the enormous range of highly imaginative artists we have here in the south west.
What is the Legacy for this project?

Richard Daniel

I can't see how this meets the fundamental basic criteria of the project, which was to : 'celebrate London 2012 and reflect the values and vision of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad, the Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games'.
